Wildlife Tours

Tours are done at feeding time so people can see just what the animals are eating and also get a personal tour full of information about the animals as a species and about them individually.

During the tour the animals come up close to the fencing and sometimes you may be surprised by a growl or a hiss from a mountain lion or at how gentle and delicate the bear picks his food from his bowl. Tours usually last approximately an hour.

The walking path is approximately 1⁄2 mile long and is gravel. We would recommend strollers with larger wheels to make it easier push along the trail. Wheelchairs have made it with an assistant who is strong enough to push through gravel and up hill.

We do have a covered porch that is very pleasant to sit on to wait the rest of your group if it is determined that it is too difficult for the wheelchair. Snow boots are recommended during winter months for the trail can become muddy and snow packed.

Commercial Photographers also have a opportunity to get some great shots with an assistant and reservations for an additional fee. Please call for more information
