Our gift shop is also full of unique and wonderful products. The shop has something for everyone. We have some excellent handcrafted products including handmade jewelry by the Navajo Indians and other locals from the area. Antler baskets, walking sticks, ceramic tiles and wood carvings are just a few of the other items we are proud to have in our store. The shop is always changing for Vimmie is always on the lookout for some fun and unusual items.

Within the gift shop is also a museum featuring record book animals that were harvested over many years of outfitting. The museum is home to the past New Mexico state record black bear and mountain lion. We also house several record book mule deer and elk that were harvested in the both Colorado and New Mexico.

Don’t forget to stop in to the education room learn more facts and let the kids make tracks in the sand. If you lucky enough you will get to see a baby animal of some kind hanging out inside as well. If we have no babies at the time then our lodge “cats” will be happy to take the attention. Smokey, Ursala and Sylvester love the attention and they are okay to pet.

The sales from the gift shop help to pay for the care and upkeep of all the animals at the park.
